The Cherry Hill Education Foundation is thrilled to announce the winners in our 2022 signature fundraising event, Dancing with the Cherry Hill Stars!
First Place with the Highest Fundraising Total: Allegra Cohen-Monk and David Monk
Best Overall Performance: Dr. Mechelle Faria and Kaelan Faria
Best Technical Performance: Tavit Murray and Sloan Salvatore
Most Creative Performance: Elana Molotsky and Dr. Alec Robin
After a hiatus in 2020 and a virtual edition in 2021, Dancing with the Cherry Hill Stars returned with a live show on Sunday, May 22, in the auditorium at Cherry Hill High School West.
All of 2022 dancing stars were amazing! The show featured:
- Victoria Bovo and Caleah Allen
- Bill Carter and Tish Winslow
- Jon Cohen and Lisa Silver
- Blaze Dalio and Jodi Raditz
- Betty DeMarco and Joe DeMarco
- Fran Marziano and Robert Marziano
- Eleanor Stofman and Alan Saperstein
The show raises funds through sponsorships, playbook advertising sales, ticket sales, and online voting/donating. The couple with the highest fundraising total by showtime takes home the first prize trophy.
“This year’s show was truly wonderful, and all of the performers brought high energy, creativity, and fun to the stage,” said outgoing CHEF President Eleanor Stofman. “We are so grateful to all of the dancers and musicians who made this year’s show such a huge success.”
Mrs. Stofman also paid tribute to the show’s director, Drew Molotsky and his production team for another entertaining show. Mr. Molotsky has directed the show each year since it began in 2008.
The Cherry Hill Education Foundation plays a critical role in ensuring that students in Cherry Hill’s public schools continue to reap the benefits of a high-quality education, both inside the classroom and through extra-curricular activities.
